Our first route will take place in 2023 and will take us from the Soca River under the Alps to the beautiful town of Komiza on the island of Vis.

During our 4 week adventure, we will paddle over more than 400 kilometers, and possibly more, of Soca river and the Adriatic sea.
Stage 1, duration 1 day; length 50 km (31 miles): We take off in Solkan, Slovenia, down the river Soca into the Adriatic sea, and across the Monfalcone bay to Sistiana (Sesljan), Italy.
Stage 2, duration 4 days; length 86.5 km (53.75 miles): We begin off the coast of Muggia, Italy, then paddle into Slovenia, along the Debeli Rtic peninsula, cross the bay of Koper to Izola (day 1); then past Piran and Portoroz across the bay of Piran to Umag on the Istria peninsula (day 2); to Novigrad (day 3); and finally to Vrsar and finishing up the Limski Kanal (Lim Bay).
Stage 3, duration 7-10 days; length 225 km (140 miles): From the town of Hvar, along the southern side of the island of Hvar to the small island of Scedro, then crossing over to Korcula, along the southern coasts of the island of Korcula and the Peljesac peninsula, and along the mainland past Dubrovnik into Montenegro, to Herceg Novi and Lustica bay.
Stage 4, duration 2 days; length 50km (31 miles): Around the island of Vis, starting and ending in the town of Komiza.
We left about a week of slack in our plans to allow for some rest days and to be able to wait out any bad weather. However, if the weather conditions are good, we will be able to paddle for up to another week, and we will then decide the possible additional stage.
